Almost.....

Almost....I have ALMOST decided on a new title for the blog....not quite there, but getting close!

In the meantime I thought I'd share a little of what has been going on around here.  We are REALLY official Tennesseans now.  Not only do we have our TN driver's licenses (after nearly three hours at the TDOS...ugh!), our vehicles are registered and insured in TN, we have library cards, BUT....Willie has had the first medical/dental appointment!  Thankfully, it looks like we have found a dentist close by that is a Christian and that we feel comfortable with....not so much about the crown Willie is going to have to have, but the rest of it...yeah.  Now to find a doctor that is compatible with our insurance AND who shares our philosophy on complementary medicine.

We have gotten quite a bit done....the burn pit is now well-established, both the lawn tractor and mower have both been put through their paces, the new coffee-maker and toaster and have passed their tests, the office has been painted (I'll post pics next week), and there is now a mile-long list of things we need (or would like) to do...did I mention that I have a list for each room?  Hehe...   It is hard to not rush out and get things that we feel we need, but we have made the commitment to take it "nice and slow"....in other words, to do it "in time" with our cash flow, rather than dipping into our reserves.....that's the Dave Ramsey way!  BTW - I did get $20 back from Lowe's on the lamp set I purchased a couple of weeks ago....it went on sale this week, and I just made it in under the 7-day rule.....YAY!  So next month it will be time for the desk for the office and for the work table for Willie's work area downstairs....both of those items will help us to get more accomplished and be more organized.  You'll just have to stay tuned to see how things progress.

Today we drove over to Send The Light (Biblica) in Elizabethton to visit some SOWER friends (Jay and Naomi Carper and King and Jackie Fulton) and tour the facility there.....what a HUGE warehouse FULL of books (could be trouble for me)...thanks, guys!  We had a great visit (which included coercing Jay and Naomi to go on one of our infamous cross-mountain car treks) and enjoyed supper at the Burger Hut....thanks!  I'm not sure that was a fair trade....they treated us to supper and we took them on what some would consider a hair-raising ride.  Hmmmmmm?????

It was nice to take off and do something fun this afternoon, but tomorrow it will be back to sorting through boxes and putting things away....there was a LOT of stuff (?) in that storage unit!

Check back soon.....I should have made a decision on the blog title....well, hopefully, anyway!
