Yesterday was a red-letter day....Willie got to check one more thing off his "bucket list". He had been trying all summer to get out on the bay/ocean to do a little fishing (not the smaller fish you get closer to the shore, but the bigger kind....like cobia). Finally the plans all came together, and along with Pastor Bill, and a couple of other men from the church, they headed out yesterday morning....

All in all, a fun and profitable day...

And, then there was another first.....I had always said that I would NEVER skin or filet fresh fish. Well, I can't say that anymore, 'cause I did it last night while Willie was getting some other stuff together! And then we enjoyed FRESH cobia for dinner....can I just say "yum, yum"? It was delicious....and now we have a freezer stocked with more of the good tastin' stuff. (Don't think I'll be buying fish for awhile : >)
Last week was a busy one....lots of fun activities, but I'll have to post more on those tomorrow. Since tomorrow IS the Lord's Day, I hope that you find yourself in a place and attitude of worship sometime during the day....I know I am looking forward to His day!
