Today has definitely felt like an autumn day....nice cool temperatures and partly sunny skies.  But there are still signs of summer all around....

...this hummingbird moth being one of them!  Yesterday was the first time that I had seen three of these creatures on the butterfly bush at one time.

And as a continuation of my "obsession" with flowers, butterflies and bees...

These small snapshots of beauty in a world that is beginning to change from summer to autumn remind me of the seasons of life....and the seasons that we pass through in this life.  Dad is in the winter of his life....yet his life has beauty and his sweet spirit has continued to touch those around him.  There are days when I let the stresses of life and the circumstances around me dictate my spirit more than I like to admit.  Oh, Lord, may I dwell in your presence to such an extent that my spirit is an extension of Your sweet spirit......!
