POOR BABY!!!   What a tough day for our favorite little redhead....Nathan.  It started out well....Willie, Janelle and Nathan left for Slidell at 7 a.m.   Nathan was prepared for the pre-surgery part of the day....

 

getting a little "loopy" here....and then he was "out"!

It was the after-surgery part that he definitely was NOT ready for...

 

....and then, blessedly....SLEEP!

 

Notice..."Daddy Monkey" is right there with him.  FYI - "Daddy Monkey" has a small digital screen  on his belly that has pictures of Nathan and his family...particularly his daddy, who is deployed.  Each night before he goes to sleep, he turns on the screen and kisses his daddy goodnight.  What a sweetie!  

He really got to this Mimi's heart tonight when he started to cry 'cause I was leaving.  Of course I stayed....what else was a good Mimi to do?  And so, Nathan I pray this prayer for you tonight....

"Father, I ask that tonight you touch Nathan's throat, ease his pain and give him a good night's sleep.  We trust him to Your care....we know You love him even more than we do."
