Snapshots

It's a new year, and we are still in the Nashville area....suffering, and I do mean suffering through some really cold temperatures.  We are so grateful for a 50 amp hookup and ceramic heaters!

Not much new is going on around here, but I thought I'd share some snapshot moments
from our Christmastime with you....

It was so good to watch the three older boys involved in activities together, from coloring to......

....putting together a four-foot long puzzle of the human body
(assisted by "Nurse Jennifer"), to......

...playing the Wii, to....

...playing their DS's, to....

...settling down to sleep in hopes that St. Nick would soon be here!

I had to include this shot of Zach covering his ears!

He was responding to Willie's "threat" to bark like a seal....
which he had done on numerous times, just to aggravate Zach.
Can you believe Willie would DO something like that?!!

Lucas isn't old enough to join in the bigger boys' fun,

but he had his own kind of fun!

And one of my favorite moments was on Christmas morning....

...when Lucas laughed!  By way of explanation....he hasn't been a very happy baby....suffering from a severe case of colic.  Any number of things had been tried, but nothing worked for more than a day, so to have him laugh up at me, was a very special moment....a real Christmas gift!

NOTE:   Janelle was able to get Lucas in to see the doctor after she returned to Gulfport, and after yet another formula change, some medication for reflux and the addition of a little rice cereal......she now has a happy baby!   What a blessing, and we are so thankful to the Lord for working it all out!

As with all families, there are a number of situations which need the Lord's intervention, and we request your prayers for them.  We also know that He knows what each request is, and that we don't need to list them in detail for Him to heed the prayers....so we ask that you simply pray for the Lord to work!

We look forward to this new year, and pray that He will draw us closer to Him and help us to make this a year in which His light shines through us to those around us.
