DONE!!

Another project is "completed"....at least for this month, anyway.  The actual work is never done....so much to be done for God's kingdom!

This has been a good month, tho' a little different, here at Shocco Springs.  We had a group of nine couples and one single....none of which we had worked with before.
The men completely remodeled six of the hotel rooms, prepared six more for painting, and completed the construction of two apartments in the basement of the Adventure Camp Admin building.  A lot of work in just three weeks time!
(I "threw" this one in for a little comic relief....Willie had been helping the painter spray paint!  Someone called it his Easter bunny suit.)

The ladies, as always here at Shocco, did LOTS of laundry.  They also put together new hire packets for the summer staff, cleaned windows, made curtains for the volunteer room, replaced hundreds of smoke detector batteries, and painted.
I was once again in the office this month....well, some of the time!  The camp director and his wife, Buster and Mary Taylor, went to Guatemala on a mission trip, and I attempted to fill in for Mary as "camp photographer"....whew, that woman is amazing....no rest for the weary, that's for sure!

But it was lots of fun.  The only really down side was that I didn't get to work with other ladies, and so really missed out on what would have been some amazing fellowship.

The last couple of weeks have been very busy, and this "in between" week promises the same.  Willie has plans to clean the radiator in the RV, and had planned to do the wiring for our tow vehicle (brake and turn signals).  But that is one task that will wait a little now.....we just got news that our son-in-law is coming home earlier than previously thought, so it won't be long before we head for Gulfport for a quick visit....praise the Lord!

We also want to put out a belated birthday greeting to our son, Tom....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOM!

In the midst of trials and problems, there is soooooo very much to be grateful for....and we ARE grateful.  Thank you, Lord, for your blessings, but most of all, thank you for the gift of salvation through your Son, Jesus Christ....we are eternally grateful!
