CHANGES....they are a'comin'!

 Changes...they can be exciting, challenging, fun, difficult, and any number of other things.  We are now in a season of change, and we are very excited because we feel that God has directed and we are READY for what is in store. 

After being fulltime RVers and "on-the-road" for almost ten years, we are in the process of buying a home.  Yes, a real "stick" house...in this case, it's more a brick one, but I know there are some "sticks" in there somewhere.  : )    We worked a project in this area (eastern TN) about 18 months ago, and fell in love with the area.  When we returned here the end of August, that feeling had not changed, and we started scouting around....looking at homes, land and areas where we might possibly want to buy when the time "was right."  Well, guess what?  The time was right!  God led us to this home, and we are amazed at how everything is falling into place.  The only hurdles left are the home inspection (taking place on Friday) and then the appraisal.  (Please pray that if it is in God's will that those two evolutions will go smoothly.)  Closing is set for October 29th....only 23 days away!

No, we are not giving up traveling, nor are we "giving up" SOWERs....just putting that on hold for a little while and then when we resume, doing it in much smaller increments...a month or two here and there throughout the year.

It will take us awhile to get settled in...we'll be haunting yard sales, thrift stores, etc. in  search of furnishings at less than premium prices, but I am looking forward to doing some "magic" with our finds!  Willie is looking forward to putting into practice some of the ideas and hints from Mother Earth News (including a garden, compost pile and beehive), while I am looking forward to getting back to doing some sewing - lots of pillows, comforters, and who knows what else?!  And of course, it will be nice to set up crafts and leave them out until they are finished....what a concept!

Once we are settled in....at least to a comfortable level....we would love to have visitors....just give us a call (our numbers will remain the same, at least for the time being).

There will be more photos to come when we take possession, but in the meantime I will try to keep you updated, and also try to catch you up on the other happenings around here.  We did complete the September project and made a wonderful trip to visit friends and family.  And there has been a "Critter Cam" in action around here the last few weeks....some interesting things, to be sure.  Until then, relish the changes that God brings into your life....embrace them and trust in His leading and provision.
