Bryce Canyon

Our time in Salt Lake City is done, and now we are headed for Bryce Canyon National Park.  We had heard that it was beautiful but really had no idea what to expect.
The scenery and landscape enroute were ever-changing....and each view had its own unique beauty.....
Soon we were nearing Bryce Canyon National Park (entering through the Red Canyon)....

These beautiful formations are called hoodoos, and there are some very interesting ones.  This one looks a little like a fortress...
...and these are referred to as the salt and pepper shakers!
We stopped for lunch right outside the Park entrance at Bryce Canyon City where we will be spending the night.  And as you know by now, if there are flowers, I have to take at least one photo of aforementioned flowers!  😊

Our first stop at an overlook was breathtaking!
The size, shapes and colors of the formation were awe-inspiring.  I find it so difficult to believe that there are so many who believe that all this beauty and grandeur was just an "accident"....it's no accident to us.  We believe in a God who created and designed this world with an eye for beauty...the best artist ever!
Look to the very left of the above picture (about two-thirds of the way up)....that formation reminds me of the Parthenon!
Just can't stop looking...at my honey or the Canyon (LOL)!
We thoroughly enjoyed this stop...it quickly became a favorite!
Willie made the trek up to the uppermost lookout....I was having a bad knee day so didn't attempt....
....but he got a couple of beautiful shots for me!
We were blessed to have time to do the "Sunrise to Sunset" walk (in reverse order)... the hoodoos seem to go on forever...
So regimented and orderly appearing in some places.....
...and then random in other spots...
We've reached the end of of our walk along the rim....
...so we say goodbye to the beauty that is Bryce Canyon National Park and look forward to Zion National Park.  I must say I am continually amazed by the variety and beauty of this part of the country!
But not only did we enjoy abundant natural beauty, we enjoyed the beauty of those people on the trip that God allowed us to enjoy!  Thanks to them for sharing all these experiences with us....
