After leaving the hoodoos and Red Canyon behind, we headed for Zion National Park...
...and yet more beauty in the shape of different land formations....
These are a very prominent feature in Zion....incomplete arches...
The variety and beauty in these parks continue to amaze us....
Zion has an impressive shuttle service which runs through/around the park, giving the visitor more time to enjoy the different areas instead of spending so much time walking from one area to the other. We took the shuttle up to one of the northernmost stops....so we could walk the Narrows Trail. We didn't actually wade the river to go through the Narrows, but we did make it to the entrance. It was a very fast-paced "hike" since we wanted to see as much as we could, but we thoroughly enjoyed it.
As we leave the beauty of Zion National Park behind we head for Page, Arizona and our next stop....Lake Powell, and even more adventures!
